Europe’s Fattest Women are in the United Kingdom
Between the ages of 18 and 24, almost one woman in four is so fat their health is suffering.
The figure is far worse than most other European countries.
By comparison, 12.7 per cent of French women are overweight, 14.4 per cent of Spaniards and just 9.3 per cent of Italians.
Experts from the European Commission, which compiled the figures for the year 2008/9, are concerned at the number of young British women who are obese.
Across most of Europe, very few 18- to 24-year-olds are obese but in Britain 16.6 per cent of young women are too fat.

Pauline, 47, became so fat that she was unable to move. Her son Dillon, 19 — who is four stone overweight himself at 18st — became her carer, doing everything from cooking meals to bathing his mum but when she won the Guinness World Record as the worlds heaviest woman earlier this year, ex-husband Alex could not resist her and they have rekindled their romance.
Alex, 46, just 10st, said: “She can’t walk, dress herself or even go to the toilet on her own — but I’m desperate to be her lover again.
“Plus I miss our sex life. Pauline could be 70st and we’d still have sex every single day because it’s that good.”
It was the biggest mistake of my life letting Pauline go and it’s taken her gaining weight and becoming the world’s heaviest woman to realise how much I still love her.”
He is certainly not disappointed in the bedroom
He added: “Despite what some may think, Pauline is great in bed. She’s better than any other woman I’ve ever slept with.”
Within the first day of being back together we had sex six times in 24 hours.
“Even though one of Pauline’s legs weighs more than I do, we’re able to position her body to make sex enjoyable for both of us.”
Pauline, who admits Alex does most of the work in the bedroom, said: “It also helps that I did gymnastics until I was 12 so I’m very limber.”
Although they had spoken on the phone occasionally since their divorce, Alex was totally unaware of her massive weight gain until she made headlines for her Guinness World Record title earlier this year. They rekindled their romance on holiday in Los Angeles last month.Pauline said: “Most women think losing weight is the way to get their ex’s attention — but for me it was just the opposite.”Becoming the heaviest woman in the world is what made him fall in love with me all over again and we’re now working on getting our relationship back on track.”

Fat women more likely to have had sex – Telegraph
In a study of 7,000 women 92 per cent of those who were overweight had slept with a man.
Fat women are more likely to have had sexual intercourse than thin ones, research has found.
Previous results suggested that larger women had a lower libido,
The figure was only 87 per cent among those of a “normal” size.
The research, carried out by the University of Hawaii School of Medicine, contradicts previous results which suggested that larger women had a lower libido, while thinner ones were more likely to be sexually active.
It was based on the sexual histories of American women aged 15 to 44. A Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 was chosen as the cut-off point between being normal and overweight.
Factors such as age, race, location, number of partners and frequency of sex were all taken into account.
However, size was the only criterion that affected the likelihood of a woman having slept with a man.
Dr Bliss Kaneshiro, who led the research, published in the journal Obstetrics & Gynaecology, said: “These results were unexpected and we don’t really know why this is the case.
“Our analysis demonstrated that overweight women do not differ significantly in some of the measures of sexual behaviour compared to women of normal weight.

New UK magazine Just As Beautiful will only use larger sized women as models

New UK women’s glossy squeezes out skinny models for plus-size women (and bans dieting tips)
In a market that seems to cater for every taste, it’s the one area that magazine publishers had inexplicably failed to fill.
Now, however, the first glossy magazine dedicated to curvy women has been unveiled in Britain.
Just As Beautiful is aimed at larger women who are between a size 14 and 20 and, crucially, will not use models who are slimmer than its target audience.
Diet-free zone
Just As Beautiful magazine is aimed at curvy women and will not use airbrushing – even the adverts (right) will focus on plus-size clothing
It will feature articles on fashion, cooking and lifestyle – but unlike many other titles, it won’t include tips on dieting.
All the models featured in the magazine’s fashion and lingerie shoots will be larger than a Size 14, and the magazine’s editor, Sue Thomason, has promised ‘no airbrushing out bits of their bodies’.
The first issue features an article on Gavin and Stacey actress Ruth Jones.

You might hazard a guess that a Botero was a top-of-the-range 4×4, perhaps, or a gilt-wrapped confectionery served at diplomatic cocktail parties.If so, you’d be thinking along the right lines. In fact, Boteros are works of art which are found in all the best homes, or at least the richest.
They are paintings and sculptures produced by their eponymous creator, Fernando Botero, a 75-year-old Colombian who has been hailed as “the Picasso of South America”.
His canvases have been remarked on for the great girth of their female subjects. “Botero the painter of fat women” is the artist’s own thumbnail sketch of himself. His corn-fed senoritas have helped to bring him heroic status in Latin America, as well as a healthy order-book.Like his fellow countryman, the novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Botero’s vision is nostalgic and sensual, revisiting the rustic Colombia of his youth, her fly-blown cantinas, her tumultuous bordellos.
